Print shops, sign shops and wide-format businesses that want sales, production and money connected without a heavyweight ERP.
You know the work. ShopStart gives you the system to run the business.
Price it. Sell it. Produce it. Get paid. Know what you made. ShopStart puts the business side of the shop into one simple operating path.
Already know how you want to run your shop? Customize it. Not sure where to start? ShopStart gives you a practical starting point instead of an empty system.
Print and sign shop management software for the business side of the work.
ShopStart connects CRM, true-cost pricing, quotes, approvals, invoices, payments, production, proofs, installs, customer communication and owner reporting so the job stays in one operating path from sale to final payment.
Disconnected spreadsheets, quote tools, production notes, payment chasing and customer updates that force the same job to be rebuilt in multiple places.
Every plan includes 10 total shop users: 1 Owner plus 9 staff. Customer portal users are unlimited.
$149 per month after a 30-day trial, or $1,490 one-time for the current 14-month prepaid offer.
The hard part is not always making the work. It is running everything around it.
Designers, printers, installers and experienced shop people can know the craft inside and out and still lose time or money because the business side lives in too many places-or in one person's head.
“What should we charge?”
Material, labor, finishing, minimums and margins are easy to miss when pricing is based on memory or whatever the last shop charged.
“Who knows what happens next?”
Sales notes, approvals, due dates, customer requests and production details get scattered between people, texts and screens.
“Did we actually make money?”
A busy shop can still have unpaid balances, low-margin work, bottlenecks and remakes hiding behind top-line sales.
It gives the business around those skills a repeatable system-whether you are opening your first shop or cleaning up one that is already busy.
Every job follows the same simple business path.
You should not need to learn a complicated ERP before you can make money. ShopStart keeps the operating logic simple enough to understand at a glance.
That same rule carries through the owner view, production and reporting.
Price the work, build the quote, and protect the profit.
Start with the customer and the job. ShopStart keeps pricing, quantity, costs, fees, deposit and expected profit together so the sale starts clean.

Production sees the job-not the owner's profit spreadsheet.
Once the work is sold, the production team needs exactly what to make, when it is due, what is urgent, and what is blocking it. ShopStart carries the sales information forward.

See what needs attention before it becomes a problem.
The owner should not need to dig through reports to know whether the shop is healthy. ShopStart brings sales, profit, cash, A/R, production issues and next actions into one view.

You bring the skill and the sales. ShopStart gives the business a system.
30 days free. Use real work and decide from the result.
Everything around the job stays connected.
Not because you need more software. Because customers, money and production fall apart when each piece lives somewhere different.
Costs, margins, minimums and guardrails that help keep bad pricing from becoming bad jobs.
Customer information flows into the quote instead of being typed again and again.
Invoice status, payment requests, partial payments, terms and open balances stay visible.
Work orders, stages, assignments, rush priority, blockers, notes and due dates in one queue.
Messages, proofs, status and payment information stay tied to the order and customer portal.
Owner-only profitability and business reporting connect the work to the actual result.
Materials, reorder levels and damaged goods can be tracked instead of guessed.
Installer, location, date/time, instructions and completion live with the job.
Search, calendar, notifications and owner intelligence connect the business instead of creating another silo.

Get paid without losing the balance.
Invoices, payments, open balance and payment requests stay in the same flow.

Give customers one place to look.
Order progress, proofs, messages, payment and reorder do not have to live in scattered texts.

Keep communication tied to the work.
Customer-facing and internal messages stay separated but connected to the order.
ShopStart is for the business around the craft.
Experienced does not mean you need less control.
ShopStart should meet you where you are.
Use them. Customize pricing, labor, margins, terms and workflow.
Start from built-in presets and change them as the shop gets faster and smarter.
Choose monthly flexibility or save with 14 months prepaid.
Both options include the complete ShopStart operating system, 10 total shop users, and unlimited customer portal users.
Prices shown are ShopStart subscription prices before applicable tax. The 14-month prepaid term does not promise a future renewal price. The prepaid payment is non-refundable and non-proratable after activation except where required by law.
One avoided mistake can cover the month. ShopStart should earn its place.
If the system helps prevent one underpriced job, one forgotten balance, one avoidable remake, or enough operating waste, the software can pay for itself.
Run your real shop through it for 30 days.
Use your own costs, your own work and your own customers during the 30-day trial. Want to look around before putting a card on file? PLS can issue a separate, time-limited no-card demo workspace.
On the next step, you’ll review and agree to the Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Already have an account? Log in.
No surprises.
Is ShopStart only for new print shops?
No. It is built for the business side of a print shop whether you are just starting, already know the craft, or have an existing shop that has outgrown scattered tools and memory.
What if I already know exactly how I want to price and run jobs?
Use your own costs, margins, labor rates, minimums, terms and workflow. The built-in starting points are there when useful; they are not meant to lock an experienced shop into someone else's rules.
What if I do not know what to charge yet?
ShopStart provides a practical starting structure so you are not beginning from an empty system. You can adjust your costs, pricing and operating rules as the shop gains experience.
What do I get with ShopStart?
Customers, pricing, quotes, approvals, deposits, invoices, payments/A/R, production, inventory, installation, communication, customer portal, reporting and owner intelligence in one connected system. Every paid plan includes 10 shop users: 1 Owner + 9 staff, plus unlimited customer portal users.
Can I see ShopStart without a card?
Yes. PLS can issue a time-limited demo workspace for evaluation. A demo does not create a ShopStart subscription or require a card. The separate 30-day operational trial still requires a valid payment method.
Do I need a card to start the 30-day trial?
Yes. A valid payment method is required. $0 is charged for the ShopStart subscription today.
What if I cancel during the trial?
Cancel the monthly plan before the 30-day trial ends and you do not pay the $149 monthly ShopStart subscription. The $1,490 prepaid plan has no free trial, starts immediately, and is non-refundable after activation except where required by law.
How does the 14-month sale work?
Pay $1,490 once and receive 14 months of ShopStart immediately. The regular 14-month value at $149 per month is $2,086, so the prepaid offer saves $596, or 28.6%. It does not automatically renew. The prepaid payment is non-refundable and non-proratable after activation except where required by law.
Can I get a refund on the 14-month prepaid plan?
The $1,490 prepaid purchase is non-refundable and non-proratable after ShopStart activates, except where a refund is required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was unauthorized or duplicated, contact ShopStart Support promptly.
How many users are included?
Each ShopStart plan includes 10 total shop users: 1 Owner account plus 9 staff accounts. Customer portal users are unlimited and do not count against those 10 shop users.
Where do my customers' payments go?
Customer payments are designed to go to the shop's connected payment account. The ShopStart subscription is separate from the shop's customer transactions.
Are the product screens on this page real?
Yes. They are straight, unwarped captures from the current ShopStart interface using example shop data.
